One of the advertising strategies that companies use, is by incorporating humor into their advertisements. Which thus encourages consumers to purchase or buy the product (or idea) that the company is trying to advertise, by making them laugh. Which also leads to people remembering the product more.

It's also a good idea to use humor when attempting to sell a product, when you are trying to construct a friendly company. But companies should be very careful when they're using humor to promote a product, because you don't want to exclude the people you are trying to promote the product to. It is also important to include the fact that different types of people have different types of humor and companies should recognize what will actually be funny to their targeted audience, and factor in what their targeted audience might find offensive.

I agree with your ideas. I like how you included how many people have different types of humor as this is extremely important in making an audience laugh. I also like how you talked about "Humor Appeal" which explains how advertising companies get us hooked to a product.

I liked how you were very thorough in talking about the perspectives of the company and what they do to attract and appeal more customers with humorous advertisement. Though, I think you should add in more of the customer's perspective in viewing product advertisements. Great post, though!
